I liked pretty much everything about this place. I did order to-go food, but what a lovely atmosphere had I decided to stay and eat at the picnic tables. Then the gentleman working there was super friendly and helpful and guided me on what to order on my first visit. I got the rice, chicken, plantain and veggie dish and added a beef skewer. OMG! So good! I live 30 minutes away and had to shower before I could sit down to eat my take out food, but it was still warm and delicious! The guy there also warned me that the sauce was hot and I thought I was a tough gal.... first bite I added too much sauce and I learned I wasn't so tough! The perfect bite included a little bit of plantain, a little protein, the rice, a veggie piece, and a dollop of the hot sauce - PERFECT BITE. So much flavor! So much joy in every bit. If I'm ever in the Georgetown area again, I will return and I highly recommend!!
I am speechless! This place is such a gem! So happy I accidentally stumbled across this food truck. The owner was super friendly, hospitable, and personable. And the food!?!?! Nothing short of amazing. So many delicious components to my meal and the portion size was huge! I will definitely be back! Please do not hesitate to try it out!
Food was AMAZING! I really enjoyed every bite—everything was perfectly cooked, packed with flavor, and the presentation was on point. Portions were definitely worth the price too. Customer service was top tier and the area was super clean, which made the whole experience even better. I’ve already been back more than once and put other people on—definitely a go-to for me now!
